UCI Professor Takes On the Man

I find it refreshing that he acknowledges the fact that he doesn't have any leverage in the situation. It's his employer's prerogative to require him to take the course, and it's his prerogative to refuse, as long as he is willing to accept the consequences, i.e. removal from his position.
