Last Second Game Winning Shot. It's everyone's dream. Usually there's a little more build up as the star payer gets the ball, dribbles it one way or another, rises and hits the J. Here, it's all a prayer and a hope.

Could anyone have devised a more perfect hell for Jim Boeheim? After suffering a loss to Cleveland State on a last second 60-footer, the mic at the post game won't even let him answer the questions.

Jim does an impressive job at self-restraint (where's the tech??) until he finally puts the mic, and us, out of our misery.

Brigham Young Student Art Project Censored For Proving Existence of Gays

BYU probably shouldn't have censored this project. The student has created an exceptional work with even greater merit because of the time and place it was executed. Instead of allowing this achievement to reflect well on BYU as an institution for higher education, they have traded a temporary art show for a lingering reputation of intolerance. Day Without a Gay, the Call in Gay Day, Strategically Precarious

Calling in gay is a great idea. I agree it's not the best timing though with many people's jobs precarious and their bosses needing no further incentive to cutback. Still, where were all these demonstrations before Prop8 was passed? I heard some on the blogs, sports blogs even, but coverage seemed pretty low key until was passed. Posted 12/09/2008 3:59 PM
