Yesterday the Wisconsin Badgers accepted an invitation to the Outback Bowl in Tampa Bay, Florida to face a TBD SEC opponent. Even though the SEC and Big 12 Conferences are still playing and very few bowls have set participants yet, the powers-that-be did know that:
1) UW would not be BC... MORE »

Hey there, I'm a smart - albeit occassionally flighty - creature attracted to shiny objects. Go roll around in some glitter and you just might end up in this blog.Calendar Schmalendar. We Celebrate St. Patty's Day When We Want.

The fact that you effectively moved St. Pat's Day last year is truly impressive, but it doesn't look like it's meant to be this year. What if you celebrate it both days proposed? That way everyone gets at least one St. Pat's, and some will even get 2! Way to demonstrate the superior partying powers of the Big Ten. Posted 01/16/2008 12:33 PM
Book Your Flight for Miami Today

You're both right; the disappointing (and embarrassing in 2007) losses in the NC game have overshadowed that OSU has been the second best football team in the NCAA for two years running. That kind of consistency is to be respected. I would not be expecting a trip to Miami, though, if I were OSU. You have to expect people to be screaming against a third OSU appearance in the NC game after two definitive losses there. Posted 01/16/2008 12:29 PM

By The Dawn's Early Light...Glinted a Keg

En route to an ungodly 8:50 lecture this morning, something caught the light of that punishing sunlight. There, up on a top floor balcony, sat what was either the remnants of a Thirsty Thursday or the makings of a Fabulous Friday. Many thanks to the owners for giving everyone something to reminisce and look forward to this morning.

Video: Brainwashing In Action Proves Entertaining to All
After last week's embarrassing collapse at the Shoe, it's time for Badger fans to get pumped about beating Michigan and sending the seniors out of Camp Randall with a win. If this video doesn't convince you that Michigan is evil (or at least that "Hail to the Victors" is indeed the most annoying fight song known to man), nothing will.
