The Best and Worst of the 2008 Michigan Football Season

As an avid Um fan (ask Paul, or just look at the goofy bastard next to him in his pic) I would say that I have to agree to the majority of this post. The one thing I would add though is the tremendous impact of the breaking of our bowl-streak, I would say that's number 2 right under the worst season in 129 years.

Also, a general observation, this entire year it wasn't that we were terrible, it was that we always played to the level of our competition (at least for the first half). I feel like this explains why we lost to teams like ND or Toledo yet looked brilliant for, as aforementioned, at least the first half against teams like Wisco and PSU. All we have to do next year is figure out how to be that badass team for 4 quarters and we'll be great because it's not like we don't have a talented team or coaching staff. I'd say next year we're contenders for the Big 10 title and within 3-4 years for the national title Posted 11/24/2008 4:26 PM

I'll start the commenting with my insignificant yet comical observation:

As I watched CNN last night announce that Obama won, I noticed they did so with a screen shot so large and dazzling that it really was the only thing on Earth that could rival John King's Minority Report-esque presentation he has.
