Charles Barry Shaffer, a now former Cornell Cooperative employee, was arrested last June while trying to visit a fake 15 or 13 year old girl in Michigan. You see, all the news reports were saying that she was 15 before. But this one says she was 13. In another 3 months, they'll be claiming that this dude was trying to **** an 5 year old and h

At 11:30 this morning, a construction worker fell from scaffolding on the new Life Sciences building. Oh, the irony. The building, which is going to be called Weill Hall, is slated to be done in 2008. The worker fell 30 feet and was semi-concious upon being air-lifted to the hospital.

Naked Cornell Traditions: Pool
Yes, this is part of a series. Yes, there are more. Yes, it is cold here.
One night, past midnight, you feel a need for a walk. So, you venture down the paved pathway behind Risley Residential College. And, low and behold, to your shock and horror, there are naked people in a kiddie pool.

Facebook: "Hehe, whoops, did we accidentally leak our code everywhere? Hehe"
Last weekend, some Facebook users may have noticed that instead of seductive messages in their inbox and the latest jello wrestling pictures, they were seeing letters. And numbers.
Yes, folks, for a brief amount of time Facebook homepage coding was exposed to the world. Facebook claims it's no big deal, but Wired disagrees, stating "hackers no

Cornell Applicants too Stupid to Choose a College

Read the same article over and over much?
Anyway, 61.43% of this post is primary source blogging. And I indicated it in the middle AND at the end, unlike other nameless posters who sometimes don't mention it at all and simply cite the source the blog used.

Cornell Applicants too Stupid to Choose a College
This year, 685 fine young men and 679 charming young ladies applying to Cornell neglected to indicate what college they wanted to apply to and therefore were automatically rejected.
Now, this is pretty stupid. Of course, despite the implication by fellow bloggers that this inflates the acceptance rate, it doesn't, as anyone with a simple under

How To Do Illegal Stuff at CU: Violence
Don't.
If you were going to get away with anything like this, you certainly are not since Virginia Tech. According to NY State law, in fact, even air powered guns- like Nerf- are illegal on campus. If you weren't aware, Cornell also had a stabbing on campus last year, so even blades are viewed with nervousness.
As for weaponless violence
