Williams College

Dinning Services has gone nuts. Well, at least in Paresky during lunch today. Not only was it the LONGEST LINE EVER but once I got to the salad bar I noticed three things:

1.The lady at the salad bar who is still the biggest hard-ass ever.

2. The "3 toppings and 1 protein" sign. Seriously, last year I used

I think a collective sigh is in order. Frosh have invaded campus and classes start tomorrow. Summer is officially over. (Sad Face)

I'm as happy as the next person to be back on campus but another week of sitting on my ass doing nothing would have been nice as well.

Does beer pong encourage underage drinking? According to a recent Time Magazine article, it does, but these professional beer pongers insist it's a legitimate sport.

Olympic Update: Michael Phelps shattered his own world record  by a full body length in the 200-meter freestyle race  tonight winning his third Olympic gold in his quest for 8 gold medals. Do you understand how badass you have to be to smash your own world record? Michael Phelps is a god, end of story.
 

...and they're not half bad. Above are some pictures of the new bulidings. I tried to get into both but they were locked so you'll have to deal with the pictures I took before decided that I didn't feel like getting rained on anymore.

Not that you care but the weather has been ABSOLUTELY terrible in Billsville (Williamstown) lately. The sky has been gray for what feels like 12 days straight! Please pray to the weather god you worship to chill out with the gray skies and rain - it is making everyone in town feel down the doldrums! It's the end of the summer for god's sake - we need a little bit of sunshine before school starts.

Willipedia, which is basically a Wiki about all things Williams,  is completely underutilized by the student body. Therefore for the next couple of weeks  (or as long as often as I can remember) I'll be posting a Willipedia article of the week.

Applying to colleges like Williams is hard enough but when you're a child prodigy navigating the college application process becomes even more difficult. Child prodigy Colin Carlson, who is only 12 years old, applied to many schools last Fall and was admitted to Connecticut College with one stipulation - he couldn't
