When my roommate and I need an escape from Eugene we like to drive to the Oregon coast to Florence. It is very relaxing to walk along the beaches and find all sorts of crazy pieces of drift wood. The coast is much different from Eugene, in my eyes, and a refreshing look at Oregon.

It is always nice to do something different. A local outdoor shopping center, in Westlake Village, did a series of movies in the park on a large, outdoor blow up screen. People of all ages gathered here to enjoy Shrek.
