Bio

I'm a photojournalism major contributing from Syracuse University. As far as photography goes my main interests are in alternative storytelling and multimedia--I like to kinda live somewhere in between pure journalism and pure illustration. I've been shooting since I could hold a camera because my dad is a photographer too. This summer I'll be interning at The Washington Post's website, washingtonpost.com, in the photo/multimedia area. Outside of photo, I love to be outside. I bike several miles daily, and usually longboard to class. I whitewater kayak, rock climb, hike, sail, and I used to be sponsored for snowboarding. I also draw and paint and play guitar poorly. I'm a terrible singer and dancer but I love to do both, especially in the shower.

Fire Tears Through Apartment on Euclid Ave.

According to fire officials, no students were seriously injured.

Several fire, police, and EMT trucks responded as well as Syracuse University Ambulances. Euclid was shut down from approximately Lancaster to Maryland avenue (one block).

2nd Annual Undie Run at SU

The Second Annual "Undie Run" was held on a chilly April 29 at 8PM. Students met at the Carrier Dome on the last day of classes to celebrate and de-stress by running a loop around the campus in their skivvies. This year the Undie Run took a detour through SU's Bird Library--during the quiet hours! | © AJCHAVAR 2008
