Penn State to Offer Most Delicious Workshop Ever

Penn State to Offer Most Delicious Workshop Ever
Penn State has just offically become the most hick university in the state, now offering a Venison 101 workshop in the fall.

The worst (best) part?  "Venison 101" is not actually a class, but a one time event that will help prepare you for what to do if you accidentally kill a deer and want to eat it--or purposely kill one and need to dispose

I Shit You Not, Summer Session Used To Be $5 Per Credit

I Shit You Not, Summer Session Used To Be $5 Per Credit
Because I lead a ridiculously interesting life, I was poking around the Collegian archives today, and came across this.  In 1940, summer session cost 5 bucks per credit.  If you haven't had the joy of taking a summer class these days, they are now pushing $400 per credit.  Now I'm not claiming to be some great math wizard, but I'm pretty sure th

Male Flasher Creates Only Interesting News in Central PA, Blogger Dissapointed With Google Image Search For "Male Flasher"
A man has struck twice in the same day in Rockview PA, exposing himself to female clerks at some small town general store.  The news here really is that something somewhat interesting has happened in good old central PA.  I just wanna say thank you to this creep for finally giving me something to write about.

If I may, I'd like to give this g

UPenn Campus Apparently Becoming Just Like Children of the Corn

UPenn Campus Apparently Becoming Just Like Children of the Corn
While this didn't happen at Penn State, it did happen at a school that has Penn in the title and was reported in the CDT, so I figure that's close enough. A gang of ruffian children ages 9-13 have been allegedly assaulting UPenn students on their campus. Can someone tell me how this is a problem?

I've fought plenty of 9-13 year olds, and let

Beaver Stadium Close to Season Wide Sellout, Players to Don French Maid Uniforms

Beaver Stadium Close to Season Wide Sellout, Players to Don French Maid Uniforms
Beaver Stadium is very close to selling out every home game of the season. And while we get to look forward to a season of great Big Ten football, the players are probably not liking the fact that so many will pile in to see them play. You see, a few of them decided it would be a good idea to get into a fight a while back, and now the entire t...

Ghost of Steve Irwin Looms in Central PA

Ghost of Steve Irwin Looms in Central PA
According to the Centre Daily Times, a 25 lb. croc was captured along a rural Pennsylvania road.

Now, I've accepted a few things by being a life long PA resident.  We have to border New Jersey, the entire middle of the state is sometimes refered to as "Pennsyltucky", and a god damn groundhog is the most famous resident off our state.  But one

Blogger Blogs About New PSU Blog Service and it's Bloggyness. BLOG!
While searching for other Penn State blogs besides this one (there are none, so don't bother checking any blog but this one), I came across this site.  Apparently, Penn State is giving out blog space willy nilly to anyone who asks for it.  In my day, bloggers had to submit two sample posts of questionable quality and substance.  Seriously though

Inside Edition, that bastian of hard news,  has taped a segment at the McCoy Natatorium about, get this, people who drown while holding their breath. They're interviewing Tom Griffiths, an aquatic safety expert on the subject. I can't imagine the interview not sounding exactly like this:

Future Managing Editor of Collegian Wins Something or Other

Future Managing Editor of Collegian Wins Something or Other
Halle Stockton is going to be the managing editor of the Daily Collegian in the fall, and she's just won first place in the Hearst Journalism Rewards Program. Apparently this is very prestigious, and she won $5,000 and a medal which appears to be a yogurt top strung together with paper clips. Hopefully this will bring the professionalism of th
