I have also produced 360° feedback surveys required for launching and supporting organizational change initiatives (e.g., climate and culture) and executive or team development at Fortune 500 companies. I designed and assisted in the development of training program materials including participant workbooks and train-the-trainer materials. The majority of my work required me to meet extremely tight deadlines with grace and flair. Training programs have included Leadership Development, Managing for Success, Managing Through Organizational Change, Relationship Management, Relationship Selling, Building Influence, Conducting Performance Appraisals, Creating a Corporate Vision, Developing Trust, and Team-building. Educational materials and customized surveys were developed for the BBC, Short Brothers (now Bombardier), British Airways, General Motors (Zurich), British Rail, the Government of Thailand, Royal Bank of Canada, and Toronto Dominion Bank. Domestic companies have included Disney, Harvard University, General Motors, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, DEC, IBM, AT&T, Xerox, Interep, Citibank, Detroit Edison, SmithKline Beecham, and the U.S. Navy. More recently, I worked with the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department. I began working with them to design and deliver a 3-day outdoor skills training program called “Becoming an Outdoors Woman.” I was responsible for curriculum design and development, writing and designing all of the marketing and program materials, recruiting and managing volunteers, hiring instructors, media interviews (prerecorded and live radio as well as print), generating press coverage, and fund-raising. I was able to raise enough funds to send 14 low-income women to BOW 2000 on scholarship. I also designed and developed three wildlife education programs for teachers at K-4, 5-8, and 9-12 grade levels and worked with F&W biologists to create a series of wildlife fact sheets. 1995 to 1998 Herbalist, Educator, & Retail Owner BODY BOTANICALS, INC. I completed my training as an herbalist over a period of five years, apprenticing with Rosemary Gladstar, and studying with many other equally renown herbalists and aromatherapists, such as Jeanne Rose and Juliette di Barcli Levy. I initially launched BBI as a retail store in Stowe, Vermont. I installed a new concept I created called an AromaBar, where I met with clients and custom-blended health and beauty products. I developed a line of aromatherapy treatments for Topnotch Spa & Resort and a line of soaps for the Vermont Soap Company. In addition to running the retail aspect of the business, I also conducted workshops and seminars related to natural health care using herbs and essential oils. In 1997, I closed the retail store and launched BBI as an online business providing products, information, and herbal recipes. I sold the company to a day spa in Charlottesville, Virginia. 1985 to 1987 Production Manager THE FORUM CORPORATION I managed the Production Department of this international management consulting and training company. I hired and trained a staff of two full-time employees and a dozen freelancers. I was responsible for the timely delivery of materials under very tight deadlines. Responsibilities included desktop publishing, writing, editing and proofreading, interview tape transcriptions/content analysis, and coordinating with the Printing Department. On many occasions, I worked directly with our clients to develop or revise training materials. I produced production budget estimates and was responsible for supporting the delivery of $5-7 million in training revenue. I also coordinated the logistics of the offsite training programs and executive retreats. In 1986, I was one of three recipients of the Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Performance in acknowledgment for my work on the General Motors Leadership NOW program. As unfortunate as this might be, it is not a violation of student confidentiality or the student's FERPA rights. If you are 23 or younger, reside at your parents' home (i.e., this is your legal address), and rely upon your parents as your primary support (financial, medical, transportation, tuition fees, etc.) this is not illegal or even unethical. You are responsible for setting this up nice little arrangement, remember?
You can choose to declare yourself as an independent student. But keep in mind, this means you no longer require the financial support of Mom and Dad). You pay your own way in life. Then, of course, the letter would have been sent directly to you.
But, the best advice I can offer is to focus on your academic priorities and life goals. This way you won't receive any Judicial Committee warnings nor will you have to live in fear of your parents' reaction. (Frankly, I'd be pretty pissed off spending $30K/year to support someone else's selfish behavior.)
Focusing on your academic responsibilities will also set you up nicely for the highly competitive world of Grad School. (Do you really think you'll get a good job with just an undergrad degree? In this economy and an unstable job market, not likely.)

Hottie of the Day: Michelle
Time to stop considering women as sex toys, kids. This means stop objectfying and depersonalizing women and start viewing them as your equals. (If you're not learning critical thinking skills in college, why are you spending all that time and money?) Gentlemen, these women are your competition in today's tough job market.
Women, take back your power and stop allowing yourselves to be used this way. Potential employers DO check the Internet and DO judge you on what they find.
