Arizona State Cuts Cheerleading Squad Over Risque Photo

Arizona State's athletics director Lisa Love made the decision Thursday night to cut the entire ASU cheerleading squad after a photo showing some of the girls on the team modeling in bra and panties surfaced on a popular gossip blog.

AOL Sports reports:

"The Big Lead points us to two news reports out of Arizona that indicate that the cheerleading squad that performed at Arizona State football and basketball games has been eliminated. Arizona State will instead have "spirit squads" that will be led by the band director.

Why the change? It's not entirely clear, but the Fox TV affiliate in Phoenix suggests that it's because TheDirty.com posted photos of Arizona State cheerleaders in their underwear."

The entire team was cut for barely PG-13 pictures. Crazy!

Agreed they are ugly but none of them are fat! they have big legs which is a thing with cheerleaders you get a lot of muscle in your legs from lifting girls up so much. I am an ex cheerleader I know it comes with the territory. Either way the pic isnt bad they should be able to do what they love and coming from an ex-cheerleader that would be cheering!!
