After a week full of entertainment and school pride, Auburn's Homecoming Week has come to an end.

The festivities started last Sunday, Nov. 2, with a street painting competition on the side of Jordan-Hare Stadium.

On Monday, the candidates for Miss Homecoming started campaigning, which involved passing out flyers, t-shirts and giving BS reasons on why they should be selected for the title. There was also some canned food drive that no one neither knew nor cared about. I thought canned food drives were a thing of the past.

Tuesday, Nov. 4 was my birthday!! Oh, and some election thing happened too, I can’t remember. I didn’t really do anything until my dinner that night. I guess nothing fun happened on campus. IDK.

The grand opening of the new student center was Wednesday. There was a parade sans floats (the best part about parades), a ribbon cutting, hot weather and all the Auburn celebrities.

On Thursday (I thought today was Thursday until just now), the Student Alumni Association had a Shrimp Boil. I went to the Shrimp Boil my freshman year and it was NOT good. There were tons of skrimp, but it didn’t have any seasoning on it. That’s like getting a free car, but then having to pay all the taxes on it. I was not happy.

Anyway, tonight, the University Program Council (UPC) is hosting Tiger Nights. Tiger Nights is a free, carnival-like event that is open to all Auburn students. There will be free food, games, laser tag, mechanical bull, inflatable jumping things, some sport called skee ball, cosmic golf and a bungee run.

The thumbnails are of all the candidates running for Miss Homecoming. Voting ends today. Go Melissa!!!
