Here's to Hoping Your Baylor Thanksgiving is as Happy as Gossip Girl's

Remember last week's Gossip Girl? It's ok if you don't, because I do. There was drama, pie and happy endings. The writers got one thing right: Thanksgiving is a family holiday. So here's to hoping you learn from this enticingly evil show and spend tomorrow the way it was meant to be spent.

Cheers: may your gay, estranged father bring some pie, may your rebellious almost-emancipated little sis return, may your mom and brother band together with you against your scheming step-father and may your father gain your respect. Oh and don't forget the turkey (however you cook the gobbler) and stuffing.

If we're really going to celebrate this holiday in true upper-east side fashion, mind your shopping manners on Black Friday and don't pay less than full price - because, let's be honest, (like the upper-east siders) Baylor bears are loaded. Unless you're like me and have to work...

Go forth, be merry, and stuff your face.  But based on previews for the next GG episode, it looks like someone dies, or maybe sustains some great tragedy of an event. Let's hope that doesn't happen to you. See you in class next week.

xoxo
