Mike Singletary Drops His Pants, Drops In On Baylor University

Mike Singletary showed his ass to his players and now he’s hauling that ass to Baylor for Homecoming.

While at Baylor, Singletary was a football star. He earned All-America honors in both his junior and senior years and he averaged 15 tackles per game. Other Singletary accomplishments before going off to play for the Bears include: being the only college junior to be selected to the All-Southwest Conference Team, receiving the Davey O’Brien Memorial Trophy twice and establishing a team record with 232 tackles in 1978.

Just last Sunday, the recently appointed head coach of the 49ers accomplished something else: a completely ridiculous debut game. Here’s a little taste of the antics:

To recap, Singletary pulled more tricks out of his bag for one game than some coaches do in a career:

• He benched his starting quarterback before halftime.

• He publicly berated tight end Vernon Davis and sent him to the showers with 10 minutes left in the game.

• He publicly apologized to the fans for his team's performance.

• He addressed the team with his pants down.

And now the crazy coach is coming back to Baylor to celebrate Homecoming this weekend. Be on the lookout for an older man in his boxers running around campus.
