Northwestern's Rap Anthem

Northwestern's Rap Anthem

Just as our football team starts improving, so does our school pride. And nothing says college pride like an anthem!

And who better to pen a glorious victory song for our winning-streak wildcats than our very own rap legend, Mo Greene. He puts on a great (if not hazy) live show and now he's put his rap skillz to pump us all up during football season. I wouldn't be surprised if the DJ at the Keg started playing this every Monday. (C'mon, he started playing "Piece of Me" before it was even a single...)

The song is kind of catchy, kind of ringtone rap-y. The beat sounds like something Flo Rida might come up with and the lyrics name-drops the most notable football players ("Blast through the pack, like Tyrell Sutton.")

Listen to the song here. And check out "Wat U Wanna Do" only because Whitney White is sex on a stick. Sidenote: The Next Big Sound is a online project developed by some NU alumni and their offices are on Orrington.
