The Bra Project, an annual show held by the Boise State Women’s Center, will be held downtown, Oct. 30. This charity auction will be raising money for the Breast Cancer Action group. As an added treat, the DBNs, a local sorority, will be modeling the bras up for silent and live auction. Tickets cost $12 or $8 with a student ID.
All of a sudden I care much more about donating towards a good cause. This ingenious idea could see some other venues, none of which I think would see the same results. People may pay to see Kappa Sigs model thongs for testicular cancer; however, I don’t think donations would reach nearly as extravagant amounts.
Personally, I think this is a great idea. Although pictures that I have seen have the girls wearing bras on top of clothes, somewhere as uptight as Boise needs something a little risqué to shake its conservative core.
So for all those in the Boise area near the end of October, swing by and support those breasts… I mean… buy the bras that support those breasts.
