With the economy slipping deeper and deeper into the shitter every day the movie industry has came up with the answer to our problems. Yes, that’s right get ready for a Wall Street 2. Many of you are wondering if this could in fact be the stupidest idea ever, and of course it is. This is the equivalent of the God Father 3. Hollywood needs to learn that they shouldn’t ruin a good thing. I am sure there are few people that want to see 2 hours of 95 year old Michael Douglas who managed to escape from prison and make his way back to Wall Street.
 

According to Variety:

The modern-day story will again center on Gordon Gekko, who has recently been sprung from prison and re-emerges into a much more tumultuous financial world than the one he once lorded over. The Bud Fox character, played by Charlie Sheen in the original, will not appear in the latest incarnation. 

I am pretty sure there is no way this movie could be worse unless they released it on October 31st with a movie poster of Michael Douglas wearing a hockey mask and wielding a butcher’s knife, because this sounds more like a bad horror film than anything else. If “greed is good” according to Gordon Gecko, then I guess this explains why 20th Century Fox is releasing this film.
