There's More Than One Way to Get a Good Work Out in Tally

Whether you're living off campus or surviving your first year in a dorm, the college lifestyle is notorious for putting weight on students. The solution to this is of course eating healthy and working out, but sometimes the gym can get boring and jogging through campus can get embarrassing.

Why not try one of these "alternative" exercise classes and activities that Tallahassee has to offer:

1.The daring can try an introduction to pole dancing, burlesque, or strip cardio class at Art of the Catwalk, noted to be the sexiest fitness studio in Tallahassee.

2. FSU's fitness center, the Leach, offers a large variety of free (for FSU students) classes. My favorite being Zumba, a Latin infused dance/cardio class. It doesn't even feel like exercise!

3. One of my favorite things to do in Tallahassee is take kayaks out at FSU's Rez; their privately owned lake. It's a completely chill atmosphere and sailboats and canoes are also available.

4. One of the most fun ways to work up a sweat is to go out dancing at one of the local nightclubs; 90s night at AJ's is a lot of fun and a thursday night at "the strip" never disappoints. I know what you're thinking, but no; it doesn't count as exercise if the evening involves alcohol, sorry!
