Bowl Schedule Released, Semi-Enthusiastic Disinterest Ensues
These are only slightly less exciting than Cal's bowl bid.
Unless they come with cereal...then they totally win.

The 2007 college football bowl schedule was released this weekend to much excitement. From Ohio State fans. And Lou Holtz. Cal accepted a bid to the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl on December 31st in Fort Worth, Texas. They'll be playing Air Force. At the risk of being called un-American, Go Bears! Beat the Air Force Falcons!

The BCS games will feature the following match-ups:
Rose Bowl: Illinois vs. U$C, January 1st, Pasadena, CA
Sugar Bowl: Hawaii vs. Georgia, January 1st, New Orleans, LA
Fiesta Bowl: Oklahoma vs. West Virginia, January 2nd, Glendale, AZ
Orange Bowl: Virginia Tech vs. Kansas, January 3rd, Miami, FL
BCS Championship Game: LSU vs. Ohio State, January 7th, New Orleans

As we all know, the beauty of Bowl Season isn't in who wins, or even how the game is played; it's in what the games are called. A few highlights: San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl, R + L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, Roady's Humanitarian Bowl, and Gaylord Hotels Motor City Bowl. For a full list, go here.

Cheers to the end of the 2007 season! Thank God it's over.
