Without mentioning the many parties one can find on a Friday or Saturday night (well, let's face it, Thursday nights too...), there is still plenty going on in Waco. Have you heard - there are two movie theaters??? Ok, it's not that dire of a situation, but there is definitely more to do than just tortilla tossing.

Cross the interstate and you find, other than the Suspension Bridge, Wild West! It kind of perpetuates the Pi Phi (and this year, co-hosted by KOT) Howdy dance. Fun music, good dancing, but you may have to mingle with MCCers and TSTCers...

In case you thought Waco was devoid of all good shopping - ok, so it kind of is, I mean there is no NorthPark or Galleria within at least 100 miles - next to Wild West is Spice. It pretty much has everything you could want. Home furnishings, designer clothes, even a salon. Kind of heaven in, well, Waco. Visualize it: you can shop a little bit, get your hair cut and eyebrows done, grab some lunch (oh yeah, they have a cafe too....), and then go back to your dorm/apartment and show off your new stuff.
