Playboy at Penn State - Finally Something We Don't Suck At
Not the kind of bunnies they were looking for

Today was the second and last day of auditions in Playboy's search for a Penn State representative for their "Girls of the Big Ten" edition and no mention in the Collegian about it (maybe tomorrow). The CDT on the other hand, all over it. Banner on the top of their front page, and two pictures of one of the candidates in their paper (fully clothed of course) with a story to go along. And from the sounds of things, the turnout at Penn State was much better than other Big Ten schools. Finally we're good at something. Eat that Michigan!

A tipster who actually went to the audition tells us that nudity was not required for the shoot. In fact, as the CDT points out, "Only celebrities and college women can dictate just how far they want to go. And for college women, there are four choices: clothed, implied nudity, topless and fully nude."

The CDT didn't fully name anyone who was auditioning, but they did give the first and middle name of two of the women. A quick Facebook search can turn up at least one of the girls, whose status at the moment is "is gonnabe in playboy!!!"

According to the CDT, Playboy was expecting about 50 women to show up for this shoot, which according to Playboy photographer Mizuno (seriously, only one name huh?) is more than the 30 at other schools.

So, why the larger turnout at Penn State? Maybe because the fathers of Penn State students didn't hide their Playboy's very well. One women at the audition named Kimberlee Ann (riiiight) threw her dad under the bus this way:“I’ve always loved Playboy” and wanted to be published, she said. "I joke around and blame my dad because I was looking at Playboys when I was like 8 years old.”

To which men across the country are saying "Thanks Dad!"
