In today’s fast-paced world, it’s nice to have an occasional break from all the hype and commotion. And while the newspapers continue the charade they call “reporting”, it’s clear from the “headlines” that they too are observing this day.

A headline on the webpage of The Davis Enterprise (they have a website now?) reads “On the lake: Berryessa offers bounty of beauty and fish for outdoor lovers.” That’s pretty much the whole “story.”

A title on the webpage of the Aggie reads “Center for produce safety names executive director.” Well, if it’s not even important enough to caps, it’s not important to me.

Based on the success of this first “No News Day”, there may be more in the future.
