Various news sources are reporting that Will Ferrell will be coming to the Bryce Jordan Center Feb. 11, as part of his Semi-Pro Comedy Tour. Who knew Will Ferrell did stand-up? Well, other than the date of the show, and that tickets go on sale this Friday ($20 for students, $35 for everyone else), there's not much other info out there. And that's why we're here. Obviously this is a promotion for Ferrell's new movie "Semi-Pro," in which he plays Jackie Moon, the owner/player/coach of the American Basketball Association's Flint Michigan Tropics. The movie is being released Feb. 29, so the tour coincides nicely with the release.

The Collegian is reporting that the show became possible after Sarah Silverman performed at the BJC in November, as Ferrell and Silverman share the same agent.

It also looks like Ferrell will be hitting the college circuit pretty hard as we've been able to find releases that he'll be taking the tour to Boston College Feb. 13, andUniversity of North Carolina Feb. 22.

BCHeights.com, Boston College's student newspaper is reporting that the show "will most likely include sketch comedy, stand-up acts, and video screenings. There are also performers coming with Ferrell" although they weren't sure of exactly who. But the Collegian points out that there will be four comedians performing along with Ferrell.
