The WSO thread about which artist/bands All Campus Entertainment should select for next year's major concerts has grown far too long for anyone with a life to read in its entirety. What I've gathered from skimming the thread is that there lots of people on campus have great taste in music.  I've also noticed there are also lots of  people who have absolutely horrible taste in music. (Sad Face) It just so happens that the committee (or, at least, the most active member in the  WSO thread) that makes decisions regarding concerts falls into the latter category.

But, who am I to judge someone's musical taste? I will unapologetically blast Britney Spears and O-town on my iPod when I'm at the gym...

I do have some suggestions for reasonably priced acts:

Santogold, Chester French, Ray Lamontagne, Black Kids, LCD Sound System, M.I.A, CSS, Deerhoof, Alphabeat, Adele, Diplo, Tegan & Sara,Iron and Wine or any musical act that has been relevant and/or popular within the past 8 years (i.e. NOT THIRD EYE BLIND)
 

Google and Wikipedia are your friends if you haven't heard of any of these artists.
