Brown Student Pens Book About Chuck Norris and Mr. T, Pities Da Fool in The Process

“Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried.”

Thanks to the Chuck Norris Random Fact Generator, Chuck Norris, also known as Walker Texas Ranger, became an Internet legend – a meme that simply will not die.

Now, the creator of the infamous compendium of tall-tale facts that revitalized Norris’ defunct career, Brown’s very own Ian Spector, is aiming to give another ‘80s American badass, Mr. T, a much needed popularity boast with his second publication: Chuck Norris vs. Mr. T: 400 Facts About the Baddest Dudes in the History of Ever.

The Brown Daily Herald reports:

While the new book's cover depicts Norris and Mr. T locked in hand-to-hand combat, Spector said those who want to know which action star would win in a fight will have to make their own determinations based on the facts presented - the book doesn't arrive at a definitive answer. While some of the facts are interchangeable, Spector said, the Chuck Norris facts tend to focus on roundhouse kicks, the Wild West and beards, while the Mr. T facts "are more about gold chains and pitying fools."

"It takes on a much darker and sophisticated tone than the first one," Spector joked.

Spector said he has enjoyed working on the books, but, he added, "I don't see a third."

Wait – no Abraham Lincoln? No Elvis? No George W. Bush? No David Hasselhoff? There are plenty of cultural icons left for Norris to lock fists with. Don’t let us down now, Spector!

While Chuck Norris vs. Mr. T: 400 Facts About the Baddest Dudes in the History of Ever doesn't hit store shelves until November 25th, everyone already knows who is going to win that battle. [Hint: The guy who can cure cancer with his tears and make the sun cower in fear.]
