If you aren't busy slinging back drinks this evening, why not swing by the Kassar House Fox Auditorium between 9:00 PM and midnight for the Unnatural Causes Screening: "Project HEALTH and the Late Night Fund are hosting a screening of Unnatural Causes, a documentary series that explores the links between poverty, place, and health. We will show six episodes, with ten minute breaks in between, and people are welcome to come in and out. There will also be Meeting Street Cookies!" I'd say the cookies alone are worth the trip!
In other news, this weekend is the Rock N Roll Yard Sale at AS220. November 16th at noon is your chance to buy rocking Christmas gifts (for yourself or others, whatev) and connect with the underground music scene of Providence. Besides, you know the hottest little rockers in town will be out in full force, so go for the people watching alone! And you can drink beer while you're there! Score!
Also, this weekend is your last chance to sign up for the new Firedancing Class at the Learning Connection. Taught by reknowned firedancer Munc, this class is sure to be awesome... and you'll get to see how clumsy I am in person, since I signed up for this one ages ago. That's right, yours truly is looking to add firedancing to her already eclectic list of skills and hobbies. Have I ever told you about the accordion I play from time to time? No? Well, meet me at firedancing Monday night and maybe I'll play you a song sometime...
