Last Tuesday, John Krasinski, Brown ’02, returned to his alma mater to impart wisdom upon the hundreds of adoring fans and students that came to hear him speak at Stuart Theater.
That’s right; Jim, the lovable, mischievous Assistant Regional Manager on NBC’s hit series The Office, is an Ivy Leaguer.
With such an impressive resume topped by brains, beauty and an irresistible sense of humor, can 29-year-old heartthrob get any better? [No.]
Invited back to his alma mater by his former mentor Professor John Emigh, Krasinski first regaled students with stories of his time at Brown, and then opened the floor to questions.
From that Q&A session came this juicy nugget reported on by the Brown Daily Herald:
One student even asked Krasinski for a picture for his friend who had written Krasinski on three separate occasions to invite him go to prom with her.
The girl received no response from Krasinski, who told The Herald that he had never received the letters.
Considering this unidentified girl wrote to him three times requesting the same exact thing, it’s clear that the prom invitation was genuine.
Therefore, if I were John, I would turn down the student's request, because everyone knows where that photograph will end up: at the top of this fangirl’s John Krasinski shrine.
Creepy.
