Student Radio at Boston University

Student Radio at Boston University

Attention Boston University (and anyone else with internet).

You may not know this, but Boston University has a radio station.

Do you like hip hop, indie, rock, folk, electronic, talk?  It's all right at your fingertips at http://www.wtburadio.org

Sorry to make that sound cheesy, but seriously.  It's kind of pathetic.  I work at the radio station and when I tell people this, they look at me, confused.  My show "Cal On a Hot Tin Roof" is on Fridays and for example, today we had music battles.  Each of the six DJs/Interns chose their top 5 favorite songs and played them all.  People called in and voted and a winner was declared.

All that you have to do is go to the website, click on "hi-stream" and the radio's feed will open up in iTunes, WinAmp or whatever else it is that you use.

Why would anyone want to listen to the radio when they have a library of 5,000 songs on their hard drive?  Maybe, just maybe you'll find something new.  A new song or a new artist that could rock your world.
