Randy Pausch died of pancreatic cancer yesterday surrounded by family and friends in Virginia. He was only 47.

This video is his last lecture, entitled "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dream."

Upbeat, good-humored, and energetic, Pausch is hardly the image of a man on his deathbed.

After a year of fighting pancreatic cancer, Pausch was given only a few healthy months to live by his doctor. So Pausch, a professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon University, gave his last and most inspirational lecture on life lessons.
