While we are still a long way from plugging people into the internet, Matrix-style, ways of war have been upgrading continuously in modern history. In the past century, we have gone from land, to air, to space. Now, fighting is expanding beyond the physical space into the virtual space.

Imagine platoons of hackers joining the ranks of the military in the future.

As you are reading this, supposed Russian hackers are attacking the Georgian government website as physical attacks are going on at the same time.

Soon, laws will have to be drawn up concerning cyber attacks, and I imagine, more movies will be made about the likes of this.
