McCain Scolds Obama for Springfield Speech

Senator Obama made a trip to Springfield for a rally this week, much to the excitement of several college kids who attended the event. McCain, however, wasn't happy. He complained that Obama played "the race card," (is that even a real card?) and that he played it "from the bottom of the deck." With such a stinging rebuke, one would think Obama said something really non-P.C., like, "Vote for me because I'm black" or "You owe it to my ancestors whom you enslaved."  Or even something overtly sexual, like, "America, once we go black, we won't go back."

Nope. Obama simply pointed out that he doesn't look like the other presidents on the front of the American dollar bills. Which is true. He is way too tall and skinny. Who does he think he is? Abraham Lincoln?

Either way, we here in Springfield were just glad to have either of the two presidential candidates come to our small college town. Go us.
