2012 Movie Teaser Trailer Released, Proves World Will End In 2012

The movie 2012 is actually coming out in 2009, but you get the point. The film is based on the idea that the Mayan calendar ends in 2012 and so, naturally, the world will end.
 

According to the movie, the end of the world seems to come not from just one natural disaster, but rather a whole bunch of natural disasters combined! As such the characters must deal with volcanic eruptions, typhoons and giant glaciers. If you can’t make one good disaster movie, might as well roll them all into one, right? That seems to be the strategy at least.
 

Check out the teaser trailer above and see for yourself. If you think you are looking at Independence Day, Deep Impact or Day After Tomorrow, don’t be concerned. It’s an honest mistake. At least in this one, you'll get big names like Thandie Newton, John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Woody Harrelson and Danny Glover. Celebrities can save anything.
 

Now if you want a real disaster movie based on the year 2012, just wait for Sarah Palin to run for president. Scary.
