Follett's and the University Bookstore have some competition -- it looks like there is a new bookstore in town. Textbook U, which is powered by Amazon, is now available at Syracuse and appears to be updated for next semester. It sorts all of our textbooks by class at the discounted Amazon prices. According to the site, new textbooks are up to 30% cheaper than the Syracuse bookstores, used are up to 90% cheaper, and shipping is free. There are also outlines for the textbooks which can definitely come in handy! Finally, if you have an Amazon Kindle, they are offering editions of the books that are compatible with the electronic reader.
