By now, everyone has seen the infamous video of a disgruntled Iraqi journalist hurling not one, but two loafers at George W. Bush’s head and narrowly missing his mark.
In the aftermath of the attack (if one can really call it that), the media and government have been left with many unanswered, hard-hitting questions: Who was the man? Why did he do it? What did he hope to achieve?
While all of these questions are perfectly valid, there’s only one that has plagued my every waking moment since viewing the clip: Why, oh why did the shoe not land smack-dab on Bush’s ugly mug?
Seriously, at such close range, it’s a nigh mathematically impossibility to miss. But yet, the man did…
Thankfully, my dream scenario, one in which Bush tastes sole, has been made a reality through the power of, uh, video trickery (READ: photo-editing software).
Enjoy.

Stumble It

George W. Bush committed hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism (indicated in my blog).
George W. Bush did in fact commit innumerable hate crimes.
And I do solemnly swear by Almighty God that George W. Bush committed other hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism which I am not at liberty to mention.
Many people know what Bush did.
And many people will know what Bush didâeven to the end of the world.
Bush was absolute evil.
Bush is now like a fugitive from justice.
Bush is a psychological prisoner.
Bush has a lot to worry about.
Bush can technically be prosecuted for hate crimes at any time.
In any case, Bush will go down in history in infamy.

I am not sure where I had read it before, but anyway, it is a linguistically excellent statement, and it goes kind of like this: âIf only it were possible to ban invention that bottled up memory so it never got stale and faded.â Oh waitâoff the top of my headâI think the quotation came from my Lower Merion High School yearbook.
