Angelina Jolie Appears on Cover of W Magazine Breastfeeding, Shows "Private Photos"

Angelina Jolie is America’s favorite MILF, and now she’s showing off the kids, both literally and colloquially. She graces the November cover of W Magazine breastfeeding a baby, with pictures in the magazine purported to be the Jolie-Pitt family’s “private photos.” Whether or not the photos are composed of private moments, they’re hardly “private photos” once published in the glossies, not that there’s anything wrong with public breastfeeding— if you’re a hot mom like Angelina Jolie.

According to the Associated Press:

Jolie appears on the cover of the W's November issue in a sleeveless top, which has been opened to reveal part of her left breast and a tiny hand ostensibly belonging to one of her twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, who were born in July…

La Leche League International, the world's oldest breast-feeding support organization, applauds Jolie's apparent decision to be photographed nursing.

"Breast-feeding in public reveals a whole lot less than what has been revealed on the red carpet. ... I think we do need more role models like Angelina Jolie willing to be photographed and say, `Hey look, it can be done, it oughta be done,'" said La Leche spokeswoman Jane Crouse.

Angelina should consider combining the red carpet, breastfeeding, and photography by breastfeeding on the red carpet at her next film premiere or the Oscars. Sure it’s probably difficult to walk and breastfeed simultaneously, but isn’t that the reason for the invention of the Segway? All she needs to do is just pop a basket for the breast pump on the front, and she’s good to go!
