Many at the Tech are varsity athletes, but maybe you’re not. Or maybe you are, but you want to do something less intense during the off-season. Or maybe a)you don’t GET an off-season since you play fall and spring, and b)you’re not varsity but you play varsity schools so you really should be called varsity and get the cool Wesleyan stuff and not be made to feel like a worthless piece of shit when you go in to talk to one of the trainers, cause rugby’s a lot more ****ing baller than any softball bullshit ANYWAY.

Or, you know, whatever.

Point being, I’m talking about intramurals. If you’re starting a new team and not just hitching your wagon to some washed up old has-beens (though your youthful enthusiasm could inspire them to rediscover their passion for the game that they’d somehow lost along the way—watch Rookie of the Year immediately if you haven’t already seen it), it’s important to think of a good name. Here are a few of my favorite actual team names from last year:

Able-Bodied Plebeians
The Butt Kickers
Penthouse Perverts
