It seems I've been gun obsessed, but it's been all over the place lately. Plus, I must please the public!

So, let's bring out the contenders:

In the red corner, we have KansasCity reporting, a movement to carry concealed weapons on campus. Proponents of gun rights claim students with permits to carry guns will not be the ones jump starting violence on campus. These students will act as buffers to bring down the death tolls and to check potentially violent students.

In the blue corner, we have Michigan Live covering a protest by Calvin College students to prevent security officers from carrying handguns. The students chant, "No more weaponry. We want community." The students involved in the protest believe this will propel a slippery slope movement towards gun violence. 

Who will win this one? Let's wait and see. To be honest, I am all for arming pandas. I am a sucker for them when they chew on bamboo!
