This past Saturday night, Tau Alpha Upsilon invited guests into their house to celebrate the traditional “Octauberfest.” It was truly a fabulous way to embrace this shockingly beautiful Binghamton autumn we’ve been having.

To get us into the spirit, the brothers of Tau served, hands down, the best beverages I’ve encountered at a frat party. The warm apple pie punch and the pumpkin spice punch proved to be great successes as they were completely gone within the first hour of the party. However, quick on their feet, the brothers were able to conjure up a batch of cosmos before a riot broke out. Of course, the Tau signature peppermint patty shots were in full circulation, as well as kegs. Because you know, what would a frat party be without some hardy kegs? Though, the turnout was incredible, so the alcohol didn’t last.

Its always good to change it up a bit when it come to going out, and parties at the Tau house are most definitely the perfect way to do that. They never fail to come up with novel ways to impress the Binghamton partygoers.

Friday night, the bars were raided, and rumors of a Saturday night raid were afloat. Perhaps that’s what brought so many guests.
