Getting arrested for a single crime is no longer good enough in the world of competitive stupidity.
Case in point: Late last week, Missouri State student Ryan Christopher Marinez, 21, was arrested in connection with a burglary that occurred early Friday morning in Ennis, Texas (yeah, I had never heard of it either, but according to the all-knowing Google gods, it exists).
When police searched Marinez’s vehicle, they not only found the stolen goods—two pit bulldogs and a heater—but also discovered a laundry list of other criminal activity awaiting them.
The Ennis Daily News reports:
A search of Marinez’s vehicle resulted in police finding a 9 mm handgun, eight bottles of steroids, more than four ounces of marijuana, ammunition and $545 in cash. Hopson said police also located a large amount of coins officers believe to be taken from a carwash vacuum-cleaning machine.
Eight bottles of steroids?
Expect Marinez’s defense attorneys to blame everything on ‘roid rage rather than their client’s readily apparent idiocy.
That all said, one question remains unanswered that will likely cause great mental unrest over the coming days: How did the police know the coins came from a carwash vacuum-cleaning machine?!
Talk about specific…
