Candice, 20, is a junior at University of Missouri-Columbia studying broadcast journalism. She was one of 48 contestants competing in the three-day event. In addition to earning the Miss Missouri USA 2008 tiara, Crawford received Special Achievement recognition in the swimsuit category.

I was always under the impression that Missouri had nothing much to offer. Now all this has changed. The state has one member of the most beautiful family in America living in it. And that’s enough of a tourist attraction for me.
