USC Alum Cindy McCain Gets Nasty at Dinner, Not as Nice as When Popping Pills and on TV

USC Alum Cindy McCain is upset, and she’s not just gonna drown herself in pills this time! Last Friday she and her husband appeared on The View as guests and were asked several difficult questions about issues such as Roe v. Wade and Baby Momma Momma Sarah Palin. This, in addition to host Joy Behar’s observation that McCain had blatantly told lies in his campaign ads, got Cindy pissy. You just can’t really tell because of the Botox.

According to Trans World News:

McCain and her husband were on the show last Friday and were asked several key questions by "The View" cast, especially Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg.

The McCains were asked everything from the selection of Gov. Sarah Palin as VP to Roe vs. Wade and their use of the word "reform" in their campaign.

"The View" co-host Joy Behar told McCain that two of his campaign ads are "untrue ... they're lies."

Later at a dinner reception, McCain made direct comments about the show and its coverage while she addressed the crowd.

"In spite of what you see ... in the newspapers, and on shows like 'The View' — I don't know if any of you saw 'The View' yesterday, they picked our bones clean — in spite of what you see, that's not what the American people are saying and what they are believing," Cindy said at Saturday's 119th annual Oakland County Republican Party's Lincoln Day Dinner.

Who are these Americans of which Cindy is speaking? Certainly not the people behind the Count the Lies website. Certainly not the people at the San Francisco Chronicle. Certainly not the people at The New Republic. Maybe it’s just been too difficult for Cindy to remember all those other Americans, what with the difficulties of keeping track of the McCains’ many homes , downplaying the Keating 5, and trying to divert attention from her plagiarized “family” recipes. Or maybe she’s just wasted on pills again.

Your post is trash. Get a grip & clean up your act. It would be SO refreshing if people could actually engage in intelligent discussion about politics, rather than crass character assassinations.

I'm an independent-minded voter (I haven't yet decided who'll get my vote). I saw The View, and I think they were just rabid - even the normally "above-it-all" B Walters. This was in stark contrast to their treatment of B. Obama recently & B. Clinton yesterday. They were so kind and courteous. Don't they know (& don't YOU know) that it's all very obvious to those of us who AREN'T on one "side" or the other? I'm just sick of all this polarizing trash talk. It doesn't help our country move forward, and doesn't help our citizens learn much, either.

Anyway, I know the McCain's are used to this sort of disrespectful behavior. It's par for the course in today's "mouthy-democrats-who-arn't-really-interested-in-focusing-on-real-issues-when-flinging-crap-is-so-much-more-fun-and-satisfying" sort of political communications.

Sadly, the republicans don't seem much better -- they just seem to hide their agenda a bit more than dems.

My question is: why do we need to "murder" whomever we choose NOT to vote for? Clinton made that point VERY articulately yesterday on The View, as they attempted to get him to say something (anything) nasty re: McCain. He made an AWESOME point about how pointless it is to attack candidates personally, as a way of "building up" your own opinion.

It stopped them cold. Maybe you should watch that clip & comment on THAT.
