Columbia Professor Fired For Plagiarism
Promote this post on Yahoo! Buzz

A Columbia University professor was fired yesterday for violating academic integrity policies. Madonna G. Constantine, a professor of psychology and education at Columbia’s Teachers College, was relieved from her tenured position after plagiarizing the work of two former students and a former colleague.

This termination follows a two-year-long investigation, during which Constantine fought against administration, including University President Susan Fuhrman. She accused the findings against her of being “biased and flawed.” She also claimed that her skin color made her a target in this case.

Lady, please. You are (or were) a professor. You committed a crime for which you were punished accordingly. It has nothing to do with race. It’s time you took responsibility for your actions.
