In the media hype that was Karissa and Kristina Shannon, Hugh Hefner’s other new girlfriend Crystal Harris got lost in the Playboy publicity shuffle. The 22-year-old had frequently been photographed with Hefner but hadn’t received a proper (read: excessively public) introduction.
 

That’s all changed. Harris introduced herself on an E! online message board recently. Apparently, Hugh finally gave her the go ahead to emerge from the shadows.
 

So who is Crystal Harris?

You haven’t seen her in Playboy magazine (yet) but she has appeared as a Co-ed of the Week on Playboy.com. Now the New York Daily News gives us the scoop on this "girl next door."
 

She’s a San Diego State psychology student and a self-professed “good girl” (aren’t they all?). In addition to the requisite lingerie pics, Harris’ MySpace page is covered in Disney characters, cute animals and quotes like “I believe in opening your heart and letting your walls down, it is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all.” Her interests also include “the rain, the seasons, fast cars, good food, volunteering, great company, caring and honest people, the ocean and animals.”
 

Somewhere in there, I’m sure she meant to include sleeping with really old men to gain some fame as well.
