Oh my God! Is that Mike Huckabee shooting himself in the foot? Talking trash about Romney and Thompson? Making it again utterly apparent that he could never unite the republican party around himself as a presidential candidate?

Yes, it is. Last night Huckabee appeared on Hannity & Colmes to promote his new book “Do the Right Thing,” which was probably not titled to allude to the 1989 Spike Lee cult classic about a day in the infamous Bedstuy, a neighborhood in Brooklyn.

Huckabee went on to trash talk Mitt Romney for allegedly trash talking (some might call it “addressing the issues”) during the primaries and portray Fred Thompson as someone who’d have more interest in a dry turkey sandwich than a political campaign. The man could alienate his own DNA if he really tried.

Yeah he’s off his rocker, but how can you resist his squirrel-eating, pseudo-populist, totally ludicrous ramblings of Mike Huckabee?
