In an interview with Fox News’s Chris Wallace, Dick Cheney, long believed to be of satanic origins, named 9/11 as the highest moment of the Bush administration.

WALLACE: Highest moment the last eight years?

 

CHENEY: Hmmm. Highest moment in the last eight years? Well, I think the most important, the most compelling, was 9/11 itself, and what that entailed, what we had to deal with. The way in which that changed the nation, and set the agenda for what we had to deal with as an administration.

Seriously, Dick? 9/11?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but 9/11 was a bad thing, right? Well, at least to anyone with a soul, it is.

Yeah, 9/11 was a low point in the Bush administration, not a high point. After all, it was the failures of Bush’s defense department that allowed the events of that day to unfold. Plus, it was the Bush administration who exploited our grief to go to war in Iraq under false pretenses.
