Fordham Students Outraged By Corrupt Dean

Fordham Students Outraged By Corrupt Dean
Fordham University’s daily humorist FUrez Hilton broke some interesting news last Friday. An official at Fordham's health center wrongly prescribed a controlled tranquilizer to a student. When it came to light that the student had “a problem with the dosage,” the school refused to accept responsibility for the error.

After reporting falsities to the student's family and misappropriating the boy's concerns, Christopher Rodgers, the Dean of Students, forced him to leave school.

What’s more, when Dean Rodgers made the decisions to remove the boy from campus he neglected to tell the student, choosing instead to call the boy’s mom.

"I'm 21-years-old and I had to hear from my parents because the Dean doesn't have the balls to tell me himself,” the boy told FUrez.

Now, dozens of outraged Fordham students are crying foul, citing personal grievances against the health center, counselors, Dean Rodger and his “sickening” regime.

“Thank you for publicizing the absurdity of Fordham’s administrative bureaucracy, and the completely irrational behavior of the counseling center,” an anonymous poster wrote. “I am only a freshman, but I can guarantee that I will not be stepping foot into the counseling center ever again… Fordham has clearly used [this case] to weed out an ‘undesirable’ student to keep the radiant, pure image of the university untarnished.

“I bet my tuition that dean rogers (sic) is a conservative Republican constantly influenced by the jackasses running this country.” wrote another. “He's a perfect example of a product of the corrupt machine that is America - a consumer wasteland, stimulated by a religious cult of corporate sluts.”

Several students reported similar problems when seeking personal and medical attention at university resources:

"Almost the exact situation happened to a friend of mine recently.  Is it me or does it seem like the Fordham administration loves pre-judging students and not give them a chance to represent themselves?"

While it is unclear whether Fordham has committed any crimes in this situation, many readers urged the expelled student to take legal action.

“This kid needs to sue the school,” an anonymous co-ed wrote. “This is no joke. If the counseling center released his information to anyone it is a violation of state law. What the school did is not legal and this needs to be investigated.”
