Historically Black Vs. Predominantly White

Historically Black Vs. Predominantly White
According to our friends at STLtoday, the St. Louis students of two educational institutions, Harris-Stowe State and St. Louis University, cannot play nice with each other. The two schools are divide by one strip of land, lovingly named Compton Avenue (excuse me while I giggle to myself about Compton) and apparently they never intermingle or cross the street to visit campuses for that matter.

They claim there are no racial tensions, but the students think it's time to cross the street. The event is not as momentous as they claim, apparently they use each others sports facilities and they have had sports events together, but the joining of campus events has a social significance in the city of St. Louis.

I have one suggestion for the students at Harris-Stowe State, just take a cursory look at a website called Stuff White People Like and you'll get a feel for things whitey enjoys. Please refrain from using terms like: honkey, blue-eyed devil, and cracker... and, whitey is not necessarily acceptable either.

For the St. Louis University students of the Caucasian persuasion, there is a site called Stuff Educated Black People Like, but I wouldn't suggest you use it as a "How To Guide." I think you already know the terms to stay away from. Oh, and don't you dare mention fried chicken or anything you saw on BET (Black Entertainment Television).

Get all warm and fuzzy guys! Oh, and play "Imagine" by John Lennon, as far as I know there is no one who can complain about that.
