The Future for Tween Star? Look to Julia Allison

With her porcelain skin, high cheek bones and penchant for video blogging, the iCarly tween star bares an uncanny resembalance to (who else?) Ms. Julia Allison.

Allison, a Georgetown alum, is best known for hyper-bloggering,over-sharing, sex writing tendencies.  Cosgrove is a hyper-smiling, over-sharing, 15-year-old TV sensation.  Might little Miranda be destined to become a Bulldog, and then self-promote herself to internet stardom?

The possibility is there. 

Allison and Cosgrove's similarities run as deep as the congruity between a bag of 10-day old horse manure and Lindsay Lohan's crotch.  Here's the break down.

First, Cosgrove's character on the hit Nick show iCarly is much like the video storm on Allison's personal blog. Carly (along with on-set friend Sam) tape hijinks of themselves over the course of the week and post them on user-friendly internet space.  Allison does this everyday (and she doesn't even get paid).

Second, Cosgrove fancies a singing career (she sang the theme song to iCarly with Drake Bell), while Julia Allison sings, er, lip syncs, to countless Disney songs (often while frolicking on the beach) and posts them on her blog, "And Another Thing...."

Wait, there's more...

In the facial features department, the girls look almost identical. They both have those lusciously high cheek bones and large, come-get-bed-with me, brown eyes.  It's only a matter of time before Cosgrove is donning a white bathsuit and pracing around a Vegas resort in high heels. 

Yes, Miranda Cosgrove is a Julia Allison mini-me in the making. Even Allison’s major at Georgetown, a double degree in ethics and international relations, is something that would make the bigwigs at Nick proud. No doubt they’ll guide young Miranda towards the same educational path.

Predictions for Miranda Cosgrove's internet celebrity future?

No, she won't be young, trashy and pregnant like former-Nickelodeon star Jamie-Lynn Spears, nor will she bare her innocent skin in a racy Vanity Fair photo shoot.  

If the winds are just right, Cosgrove's future will involve being publicly humiliated by Rush Limbaugh, blogging herself into relationship melt-down and adopting a yappy, miniature white canine ala Allison's pup Lily.
