I’ll be honest, I’m getting a bit tired of Joaquin Phoenix pretending like he’s gone completely insane. I’m sure he’s filming some sort of secret documentary, but if so, it’s in fact the worst kept secret ever. It’s quite annoying because, he’s truly a good actor, and while he’s dicking around in mid-life crisis, he could instead by making more good movies.

I don’t know if his Letterman appearance is worse than his onstage rap show, but it’s certainly up there in cringeworthiness. This whole thing might be funny if we you know, believed him, but right now he’s just being an idiot because he thinks he’s clever.

Someone needs to hold him down, shave his beard, and stick him in a damn movie already.
