If you have not seen Pumping Iron, the unintentionally hilarious documentary about Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno’s bodybuilding rivalry, you should. In fact, stop reading this and run to your nearest Blockbuster to snag a copy, because it’s undoubtedly the funniest film ever made.

As you’d imagine, the film stars the Governator during his days as a champion bodybuilder—you know, back when he had won Mr. Olympia, the equivalent of Miss Universe for muscle heads, roughly six times in a row. During those days, Arnold wasn’t the governor of California; in fact, entering politics was the last thing on his mind, which is a supposition reinforced by the fact he is seen smoking marijuana, demeaning women and equating lifting weights to orgasms on camera.

Let me set the record straight: sex is in no way shape or form equivalent to bodybuilding. They’re apples and oranges, and I think I speak for most men when I say that we prefer apples… Uh, I should say that in this metaphor apples is sex, and I mean real sex, not this figurative nonsense that Arnold is babbling about.

Still, the clip, while factually incorrect, is awesome in every way. It never gets old seeing Arnold back in his idiotic prime.
